YOUR SCHOOL & SURVIVE-MIVA

SURVIVE-MIVA is grateful for the support schools have shown us over the years by raising funds for our cause. We hope we can rely on this support in the years to come and we want to help you by providing information and resources. We now have a Powerpoint presentation available that includes photographs (supplied by those who have received a transport grant from us) that really bring SURVIVE-MIVA's work to life. Some of the photographs show the road conditions and difficult terrain many of the beneficiaries of our transport grants have to travel over - contact us if you would like to receive a copy, or go to the high graphics schools page if you want to view or download a copy now (you are currently on the low graphics school page).

If your school would like a visit from a SURVIVE-MIVA speaker then please contact us to find out if there is someone available in your area.

THANKS TO:-

Pupils & Staff from St. Edmund Arrowsmith High School, Ashton-in-Makerfield, Wigan who raised £1,300 for SURVIVE-MIVA during their mission week in 2008.

The theme of the week was journeying with Christ and the strap line they used for the mission week logo was
'All together Now, Walk With Me'.

The pupils were challenged to see how many bikes they could buy with donations they gave during the week - they raised enough to buy approximately 20!

One day during the mission week the R.E. staff prepared food from around the world and sold this at lunch time to staff and pupils. A raffle was also held in the staff room.
