The year 2009 at a glance

 

During 2008, a total of 48 different modes of transport were provided thanks to donations received throughout the year.  This total is comprised of the following mix:

   -  18 ambulance/community health outreach vehicles;
   -  26
motorbikes/mopeds;
   -   1 boat/outboard motor;
   -   3 autorickshaws.

Distribution by Country
A total of 47 grants were transferred to Diocesan accounts for in-country purchase of the above vehicles in the following countries:

9 to India, 4 to Peru, 1 to Burundi, 1 to Cameroon,
1 to Malawi, 1 to Nigeria, and 1 to Uganda.


19 to India, 1 to Brazil, 1 to Peru, 2 to Ghana, and
3 to Uganda.
